Wrath of The Machine Secret Monitor Locations in Destiny Rise of Iron

Wrath of The Machine is the new Raid in Destiny Rise of Iron expansion. The new raid, Wrath of The Machine has 5 secret monitors that you have to activate in order to get an Exotic Weapon called Outbreak Prime and to unlock a secret room with a loot chest.

These monitors are pretty well hidden in the Wrath of The Machine Raid, so you have to make a good effort in order to find all 5 of them. But don’t worry, we are here to help. Wrath of The Machine Secret Monitor Locations in Destiny Rise of Iron:

Following are the locations of all 5 secret monitors in Wrath of The Machine Raid in Destiny Rise of Iron Expansion Pack:

Wrath of The Machine 1st Secret Monitor Location:

The first monitor is in the Vosik room. If you go to the left front doorway you will see a fan in the ceiling. Jump up and you will land on the fan, jump again and enter the tunnel. At the end of this tunnel you will find the 1st secret monitor.

Wrath of The Machine 2nd Secret Monitor Location:

The 2nd secret monitor is in the room with one of the exotic chest in the 2nd jumping platform section. If you jump onto the bridge that leads you to the exotic chest, you can continue to jump up higher. Look at the path that leads to the exotic chest and then turn left. Jump on the pipes and then continue to jump until you reach another small hallway. In there you will find the 2nd secret monitor.

Wrath of The Machine 3rd Secret Monitor Location:

You can find the 3rd monitor after Siege Engine fight. Before the Engine falls off of the wall, jump off the back so that you are still up on the top. Check out the right side of the wall closer towards the big jump that you need to make. On the side of the wall, there’ll be a little chunk of wall that is sticking out and is destructible. Break that part of the wall with your gun and when it blows up, jump down and follow the path to the third secret monitor.

Wrath of The Machine 4th Secret Monitor Location:

The 4th monitor is a pretty interesting find, it is also a pretty tough one to discover if you don’t know what to do. The developer Bungie put out an ARG (Alternate Reality Game) which gives player a sequence from a total of 1024 sequences. These sequences needed to be chained together in strings of 8 to use keys in order to decrypt data. This decrypted data then turned into a lots of  images. When you piece together these images it will create a grid in the big server room with all the cylinders on the floor (Diamond Room). You can see the grid image below.

When you get to the Diamond Room, you need to have four players stand on the cylinders highlighted in the above image. When you do this correctly you will hear a loud noise. Then in the previous room where you fought the exploding shanks, there’ll be two monitors, one to the left and one to the right. These monitors are located towards the beginning of this area. Left or right refers to the prospective of you walking into the room.

You will need two people here, one per monitor, because each monitor will give you a four digit number. This number is in binary. You need to convert this binary number into hex or decimal. To convert the number use THIS chart.

The left monitor will tell you which column and right monitor will tell you which row. Back in the main Diamond room, you will need players to stand on the corresponding cylinder the monitor tells you to in the correct order. Rows goes from 0 – 5 from closer to you towards the wall. So, basically, 0 is right next to you and 5 is against the wall. You will start this in Section 00 then move to Section 01 and so on to Section 03. There is no set patterns to which cylinders you need to step on first.

The 1st monitor (left) says its converted hex or decimal numbers and then the 2nd monitor (right) says its number, one of the four people in the Diamond Room jumps on the corresponding cylinder. If you jump on to the correct one, it will light up and make a noise. you do need to stand on it for a little bit, it won’t notify you right away. (If you mess this up then you will also hear a noise and things should reset automatically.) When the cylinder light up and makes a noise then the two monitor back in that room will display a new number. So the player 2 needs to be ready to make a jump on to his corresponding cylinder in Section 01.

This will continue until all 4 players in the Diamond Room are on their cylinders. Once all players are on their respective cylinders in the correct order, the middle will open up. Inside you will find the 4th secret monitor. And you will also find a chest inside.

Wrath of The Machine 5th Secret Monitor Location:

The 5th secret monitor is at the very end under the Aksis Boss encounter. After you kill Aksis, head towards the edge of the area on the left side(if you’re facing Aksis). A little platform unfolds and you can go down stairs to turn on the monitor. After that the lasers will go down and you can access the chest. You will get a SIVA Engine from this chest which you can use to get Outbreak Prime Exotic Pulse Rifle.
