How to Unlock XCOM 2 Psi Operative Class
XCOM 2 Psi Operative Class is the fifth class in the game with very unique and powerful abilities. XCOM 2 Psi Operative Class is totally different from other classes that you have in the game even the leveling up this class requires time in the Psi lab instead of the battlefield.
To unlock XCOM 2 Psi Operative Class you have to do some activities, abut all these things are well worth it, as this class has some of the best abilities that can be the turning point in any battle. To unlock XCOM 2 Psi Operative Class you will have to do the following things;
Defeat Sectoid: This enemy is really an easy one to kill and you can easily find this enemy in your first mission.
Sectoid Autopsy: Next thing to do is sectoid autopsy research, after you have progressed in the game, you will unlock many new things in the game for example “Psionics” research.
“Psionics” Research: This is same as above, when you complete this research it will grant you access to new things as well such as Psi Lab Facility.
Psi Lab Facility: When you get access to the Psi Lab facility from the above step, you need to construct this facility. But this is very time consuming and costly because first you need to clear some space for this.
When all above steps are done, then you need to place a new soldier (rookie) in the Psi Lab and he will be trained and then transformed into a Psi Operative Class after several days.
One thing to note that these Psi Operative Class Soldiers do not level up like other soldiers, you need to place these Psi Operative soldiers in the Psi lab to train and level up. Do not worry these psi soldiers are available to use in battles but they need to send back to the psi lab afterwards to complete their training.
Abilities for this Psi Operative Class comes in batch of random 3 abilities, and if you are lucky you may get the most powerful and effective abilities early in the game. If you want to speed up the process to train new soldiers as Psi Operative Class or to level up existing ones you should place an engineer in the Psi Lab.
