Gears of War 4 is just hours away from the release. The game offers new weapons, enemies, characters, improved gameplay experience, graphics and other similar stuff. Gears of War 4 is action packed third person shooter with various easter eggs here and there to keep things alive for players to enjoy the game.

This time Gears of War 4 follows the story of JD Fenix, the son of Marcus Fenix, a well known character in Gears of War series. You will be fighting against new enemies and during all this drama you may be able to get some easter eggs but if you don’t, then no worries we are here to help.

Gears of War 4 Easter Egg Guide:

In Gears of War 4 Easter Egg Guide we will show you all the easter egg locations in the game that you can find and enjoy for yourself. Following are the easter eggs that we manage to find;

Gears of War 4 Easter Egg – Dominic Santiago’s Tomatoes:

Dominic Santiago’s Tomatoes is an audio easter Egg, it’s a reference to multiple members of Delta Squad and you will also get a small surprise at the end. To find this easter egg you will have to play the Chapter 2 of Act II called Geared Up. When you spawn into the Marcus’ house in the weapon locker room. Just defeat the boss and move through the house while killing all the DeeBees.

You will find a tunnel in the basement of the house. be careful because you will face another wave of DeeBees in the tunnel. After killing all the enemies make your way to the green house. To get the best experience out of this audio easter egg make sure to kill every single enemy out there.

Once you cleared the area just go into the green house and shoot down all the tomato plants to activate the Dominic Santiago’s Tomatoes audio easter egg.

Gears of War 4 Easter Egg – Despicable You Freeze Ray:

Despicable You Freeze Ray is a weapon easter egg, it’s a reference to Freeze Ray from the Despicable Me movie. This weapon shoots ice balls that freezes enemies to instant death. You can find this easter egg in Chapter o of Act I which is called Prologue.

Play this chapter on insane difficulty to easily get the weapon. After destroying the enemy’s communication tower and blowing up the enemy bunker, your squad will enter the facility. When you enter the door you have to take down most of the enemies as fast as possible. You need to be quick because there’s a door on your right that will be closing which you need to enter to get the Despicable You Freeze Ray weapon.

One of the reason for playing this on Insane difficulty is that the door will be closing at a slower rate at this difficulty. If you choose any other difficulty level, for instance normal or hardcore the gate will close pretty fast and you won’t be able to make it in time.
